SD card adapters make it convenient for an individual to upload pictures, documents, videos and songs that you have saved in your Micro or Mini SD cards. These adaptors also save your time by uploading data from multiple cards.
Adding files to an SD card using an SD Card Adapter
- First you attach the SD card in the same way you upload files. Enter the card in the adaptor and then connect it to you computer’s USB port.
- As you will enter the card into the adaptor a prompt will appear showing you options to select what you would like to do with your SD card. Go to the "view files" option which gives you an access to files saved in your SD cards.
- Drag the pictures and files to the SD card folder from the folder. Click on the folder where the files you would like to add are located. A message will then turn up telling you that the files are processing. Transferring process can take between ten seconds and ten minutes depending on the amount of files being transferred.
- After transferring the files to the card, click on the right hand corner on the bottom of your screen. As soon as you click on the bottom of the screen, gray and green color icon will be visible to you. Click on that icon and a folder will open up that will enable you to access the attached devices. Click on the SD card adapter and hit "stop" on the bottom of the folder.
- You will be notified when it is safe to plug out the device. Plug out the device and place the card back into the device you wanted the files on. The files and pictures will be on the card.
